Monday 6 (FGHE)
Today we are going to have an activity on 7,2 for climate change. This should allow us to tackle the application and skills component of the 7,2 Topic.
Homework - Complete notes for topic 7.1 and 7.2...Including Case Studies for each.
Wednesday 8 (EFGH)
Today will be the last period for dealing with Climate Change proper. Your notes for 7.1 and 7.2 are due today.
Homework -Begin work on topic 7.3 notes. It is the last section of notes you will do for ESS...make it pretty.
Monday 27 (HEFG)
Today will be our task looking at topic 7.1. It will deal with the pros and cons of specific energy sources.
Homework - Complete task and work on notes. Notes for 7.1 will be due next class.
Wednesday 1 (GHEF)
Today will be an intro lesson to 7.2 on climate change. It is the bigger of the 3 subtopics and will take a few classes. There will be a lecture part, and more vocabulary work.
Homework - I will tell you in class.
Sunday 19 (GHEF)
Today we finish off the Before the Flood documentary.

Tuesday 20 (FGHE)
We will intro into topic 7.1 today and will look at completing another vocabulary task. I felt like it helped with the understanding of the task and concepts last unit and was a fairly straight forward task. A few more easy marks to build up your understanding.

Thursday 23 (EFGH)
Today is a run through 7.1 proper. There will be a lecture and all the usual fun that comes with it.
Homework - Notes on 7.1 due Monday.
Monday 13 (EFGH)
Today we complete the final subtopic of topic 6.4. We will investigate the last few pieces left to cover, specially the regulations that have been put in place to correct the impact of acid deposition.
We will also have a small review session and clean up unanswered questions.
Remember - Smog City, Vocabulary, and Acid Deposition VLab is due.
Homework - Study for Quest on 6.3 and 6.4
Wednesday 15 (HEFG)
First off will be the quest on 6,3 and 6.4.
Next we will start our viewing of "Before the Flood", the documentary by DiCaprio. We will get a part of the way through and plan on completing it next class. It is a great intro to the idea and impact of climate change, which is our last topic in ESS...

Monday 6 (GHEF)
Today we will delve into the last parts of topic 6, acid deposition...basically acid rain. Now that the IAs are done there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Let's see how far we can get with this subtopic. I hope to get it done in 3 classes.
Homework - Start compiling notes on Topic 6...Case studies and all.
Thursday 9 (FGHE)
Continued progress to be made on the idea of Acid Rain. I have a potential lab activity for it...just want to make sure we are ready.

Welcome back! How does it feel? One more step closer.
First off...FINAL IAs DUE 11:59 pm THURSDAY...NO QUESTIONS.
Next we start into 6.3 Smog. We should be able to finish it nice and quick.
Tuesday 31 (EFGH)
Another day for Smog work. I feel like we will have a lovely case study and will look into the AQI for some specific cities.

Thursday 2 (HEFG)
Today will be a final IA day. Come prepared to work, check each others work, and aim to complete the task.
Tuesday 3 (GHEF)
I think with teh 5 days remaining it would be in our collective best interest to run through a Topic a day. I have content work, practice problems, etc for us. 5 class...5 topics.
Don't forget to baby step your final IAs...they are coming up too.

Day 2, topic 2...we can do this.
Tuesday 13 (EFGH)
We have a bit to cover on 6.2 today. I want to move through this one as we only have the 3 subtopics to go.
I also want to give back feedback on IAs at this point as you should be working on your final drafts which will be due before mock exams.
Thursday 15 (HEFG)
I hope to wrap up 6.2 Ozone layer stuff for the year. It will leave us with 6.3, 6.4 and all of topic 7. Not sure if we will tackle the rest of 6 before mocks or not, but I will let you know.
IAs are due on Turnitin between now and theg mocks. Wrap them up and submit them. Refer to all the content in the ESS folders and resources given to you.
