I think we have started out the second Quarter in a wonderful way. The Forms were easy and fun, we will work on how to run the script and what it can do for the next few days. I am thinking that the best thing for us to start to think about is making new recruiting videos for Mr. Walker. Last year we waited too long and it was a bit of a rush. This year I want to make it work a lot better. I am hoping that Mr. Walker is able to come in and give us some input into what he would like to show to new potential teachers (and maybe even families).
So, the idea will be that there will be a set of concepts that are needed for a video and each concept will having catch words or ideas that go with it. Everyone will be given the choice to work in groups of up to 3 people, 2 people or alone but I will not choose groups or decide who works with who. By now you should be comfortable enough as a class to maturely decide on what will work best for you.
There will be a Presentation component before any filming starts. Consider it like a story board. They use these for actual films and shows in order to make sure there is a flow to the story. Once these are done, then we film, then we edit, and then we celebrate!

This week I am going to attempt something new but it is not something you have to do. There will be three blogs for you to do BUT you can choose to use one of the new web cameras and make your very first Vlog. If you choose to do a Vlog you will only have to do 2 blogs (1 is the Vlog, and 1 blog). I will talk about what this means and guidelines in class.
