I have gone through all the first projects that have been submitted last week. There were many that looked awesome and a great deal of you are really starting to see where the project is going. That being said, there are a few things that I think people are missing. This is what I noticed in a few assignments:
Make sure to put in "how it impacts you". This may be examples or stories or a discussion. A few people dropped into the 80's because you didn't address how the element directly affects you.
Make sure that if you are doing Power Point or presentation that you follow the rules you learned about what makes a good presentation. Some people have font changes in a slide, random images and too much on slides.
A few people really seemed to struggle and didn't put a great deal into the project, just try a little harder.
I know a few people are disliking the project and would rather have more structure and guidance. The point of the project is to open it up and not give too much structure...
After a suggestion from Baheya (you can thank her later), I thought about reducing the number of elements you must cover. I think that the best results will come from having to select the top 6 elements that impact you. It will make you think a little bit more, and put in more work on a single project but it will make it easier I hope.
There will only be 4 blogs this week. I hope this helps relieve pressure coming from other classes.
